APC Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda Confesses Jealousy Over Wike Joining PDP.

APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda praised the work ethic of Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike, commenting on how he never seems to sleep.

Yilwatda added that he is envious of Wike’s affiliation with the Peoples Democratic Party and wished he could persuade the minister to switch to the APC.

He made the remarks at the opening ceremony of the Collector Road CO1, which runs from the Nile University area to Ring Road III, an extension of the Body of Benchers road.

The road opening was part of projects commemorating President Bola Tinubu’s third anniversary in office, and Yilwatda represented the APC.

Yilwatda said: “The workaholic, ever working, and tireless Minister, I don’t know when you sleep.”

He continued: “Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, you know I’m jealous that you are in the PDP; I wish I could persuade you to join the APC.”

He added, “But I’m glad that the PDP borrowed you to us in 2023, and I saw your letter to the PDP National Working Committee requesting your support.”

He said, “I don’t know if this would lead to such a remark from you that what APC can do, some PDP members can also do.”
