Iranian President, Masoud Pezeshkian says the Islamic Republic must be honest about the impact of war with the United States since February 28.
According to the state news agency Mehr, Pezeshkian also warned officials against painting a false image of the state of the country during the war.
“If we are in a state of war, we must adopt a war posture,” he said.
According to him, power plants, petrochemical industries and steel facilities have been targeted.
He further stated that Iran should not falsely claim that it has no problems and that the enemy is being destroyed.
“Officials should speak honestly to society and avoid presenting a false image of our absolute prosperity in the face of the destruction of the other side.
“We are also facing serious challenges,” he added.
