Israel’s far‑right national security minister, Itamar Ben Gvir, criticised the United States‑Iran agreement aimed at ending the conflict in West Asia, including the situation in Lebanon.

Ben Gvir made the remarks on his Telegram channel on Monday, stating that Israel is not bound by the deal.

“Trump’s agreement does not bind us; we are not party to this agreement. It does not safeguard our security,” Ben Gvir said.

“We must not settle for anything less than the dismantling of Hezbollah,” he added.

Additionally, Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi confirmed in a televised interview that the memorandum between Tehran and Washington had been finalized.
