Trabzonspor has set a €35 million price tag on Nigerian defender Chibuike Nwaiwu, according to the DAILY POST.
Nwaiwu attracted attention with strong performances for the Turkish Super Lig club after joining from Austrian side Wolfsberger AC in January.
The 22‑year‑old has shown defensive skill and added three goals and one assist across 16 league appearances.
He also played in the Turkish Cup final that saw Trabzonspor defeat Konyaspor.
Fulham of the Premier League reportedly has keen interest in Nwaiwu, but Trabzonspor insists on a substantial fee, Turkish outlet Taka Gazete reports.
Should the defender depart, the club has already identified Gambian centre‑back Abubacarr Sedi Kinteh, who is currently with Tromsø IL, as a possible replacement.
