Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command seized an unregistered MAN diesel truck at a Lagos State exit point, finding 47 sacks of military camouflage uniforms and 80 cartons of drugs suspected to be illicit.

A statement released on Tuesday by the command’s spokesperson, SP Ambimbola Adebisi, said four suspects have been arrested and are now in police custody.

The Police Public Relations Officer added that an initial investigation indicates the uniforms were being transported to the South‑Eastern region of the country.

“Investigation is ongoing to determine the source, ownership, and intended recipients of the recovered items, as well as the extent of the suspects’ involvement,” the statement read.

“Efforts are also ongoing to apprehend other persons connected with the criminal act,” it added.
