…Says June 13 Exam Final Opportunity for Eligible Candidates

By Joseph Erunke, Abuja

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that it has begun printing notification slips for the 2026 Mop‑Up Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

In a statement from JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, candidates can now access and print their notification slips ahead of the mop‑up exam scheduled for June 13, 2026.

The notification slip lists essential details such as examination centres, dates, times and other instructions needed for the test.

JAMB said the mop‑up examination is for candidates who could not sit the main UTME because of technical problems or biometric verification issues during the earlier exercise.

The Board explained that the exam offers eligible candidates a final chance to participate in the admission process.

Those scheduled to sit the test have been advised to visit JAMB’s portal and print their slips to obtain their examination arrangements.

JAMB also encouraged candidates to print their slips early and to familiarize themselves with their exam centres before the exam date to ensure a smooth experience.

The Board stated that the mop‑up examination will be the last UTME exercise for the 2026 admission cycle.

“The Board wishes to emphasise that this Mop‑Up Examination represents the final opportunity for eligible candidates to sit the 2026 UTME. No further examination will be conducted after this exercise,” the statement said.

JAMB urged all affected candidates to prepare adequately and to take advantage of the opportunity provided.

The Board reaffirmed its commitment to conducting a credible and transparent examination process while ensuring that eligible candidates have access to the admissions system.
