Gunmen abduct wife and son of Yauri APC chairman in Kebbi.

Suspected bandits have abducted the wife and son of Yusuf Alhasan, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Yauri Local Government Area of Kebbi State.

The incident was announced in a post shared on X by security analyst and conflict reporter Bakatsine.

Bakatsine reports that the attackers stormed Alhasan’s home in the Low-Cost area of Yauri around midnight on Monday and took the two victims to an undisclosed location.

No official statement has yet been released by security agencies or the Kebbi State Government.

The attack has raised concerns about insecurity in parts of Kebbi State, where kidnapping and armed attacks continue to affect communities.

At the time of filing this report, security authorities had not issued an official statement, and the whereabouts of the abducted wife and son remain unknown.
