Female passenger dies after Benue Links bus falls into stream

A female passenger died in a road accident on the Ogiladzi–Abakwa Road at Ofyanghan, Adi‑Etulo, Buruku Local Government Area, Benue State.

Eyewitnesses report that a Benue Links bus heading toward Jato‑Aka plunged into a stream, killing one woman while several other passengers were rescued.

The incident took place between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at Ofyanghan.

Preliminary information suggests the bus fell into a nearby stream, though the exact circumstances remain unclear.

Local sources say that several passengers were rescued from the wrecked vehicle.
