Samuel Chukwueze has joined the Super Eagles training camp in Leiria ahead of the upcoming international friendly against Portugal, according to Completesports.com.
The arrival of the AC Milan winger brings the camp’s roster up to 22 players.
Chukwueze had been absent from recent Super Eagles fixtures, including the Unity Cup and the friendly against Poland, because of his mother’s death and her burial.
The 27‑year‑old is slated to participate in the team’s training session later on Friday.

The Super Eagles landed in Leiria on Thursday night in preparation for the highly anticipated match.
Éric Chelle’s side will face Portugal at the Estádio Municipal de Leiria on Wednesday, 10 June.
The Super Eagles remain unbeaten in their last six matches, following a 2‑2 draw with Poland on Wednesday.
The three‑time African champions extended their unbeaten streak to six games after the 2‑2 draw against Poland.
