The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the next phase of its 2024/2025 recruitment, which will involve physical screening and document verification for candidates who have been shortlisted.
According to a statement from the Board’s Secretary, Maj.-Gen. Abdulmalik Jibril, rtd, applicants who sat the Computer‑Based Test (CBT) in November 2025 are required to check their status on the official recruitment portal between 15 June and 20 June.
Applicants must log in with the application number issued during their initial registration. Successful candidates will then be asked to upload their credentials and choose their preferred dates and venues for the physical screening exercise.
The Board cautioned applicants to follow all portal instructions carefully to avoid disqualification.
Jibril emphasized that the recruitment process is entirely free of charge and warned against paying any individual, agent, group or organisation that claims to provide assistance with shortlisting, venue allocation, document uploads, access to screening centres or final selection.
“The recruitment process is completely free. No fee should be paid to any individual, agent, group or organisation for any aspect of the exercise,” he said.
The Board also urged the public to ignore fake recruitment messages, fraudulent links and unauthorised persons pretending to represent CDCFIB.
All official information about the recruitment exercise will be communicated exclusively through the Board’s recruitment portal and other approved official channels.
The Board reaffirmed its commitment to a transparent, credible and merit‑based recruitment process in accordance with established guidelines and regulations.
