Victor Osimhen’s potential transfer to Paris Saint-Germain could materialise this summer after French winger Bradley Barcola revealed his wish to depart the French club, Afrik Foot reports.
Although the 27‑year‑old striker joined Galatasaray for €75 million—a Turkish record last summer—he has been linked with moves to top clubs in Europe’s five major leagues, including PSG.
Barcola, who has scored 39 goals and supplied 35 assists for Luis Enrique’s side since arriving from Lyon in 2023, is a skilful dribbler and creative playmaker. However, his inconsistent finishing has led to reduced playing time, and he has been displaced from the starting XI by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Barcola has been a key attacking outlet for PSG over the past two seasons. A decline in his minutes during the second half of the campaign may have prompted him to seek more regular football elsewhere.
According to The Mirror UK, Barcola has expressed a desire to leave PSG this summer, drawing interest from clubs such as Liverpool and Arsenal, both of which are looking for creative wingers.
Standard UK also reports that PSG are open to the winger’s exit but are demanding a fee in the region of €130 million (£112 million). Neither of the interested parties is willing to meet that valuation.

“Bradley Barcola’s future? I have no doubt he’ll remain our player. We like the fact that our players are interesting to other clubs. But he’s one of those young players we’ve been banking on. I expect him to play here for many more years.”
The former Lyon striker is expected to decide on his future immediately after the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and a transfer request could force PSG and Luis Enrique to reconsider their position.

Victor Osimhen was previously linked with a move to PSG during his time in Italy. Napoli’s President Aurelien De Laurentiis confirmed that the two‑time UEFA Champions League winners had submitted a €200 million bid for the Nigerian striker and Kvaratskhelia, which was rejected.
The Georgian eventually moved to Parc des Princes, while Osimhen joined Galatasaray, and both players have won trophies with their respective clubs.
With Barcola on the way out, PSG might renew interest in the 2023 CAF Player of the Year.
Osimhen’s attributes—tracking back from the front, relentless pressing, aerial prowess, and goal‑scoring ability—align with the style Luis Enrique favours.

To achieve this, the Ligue 1 champions would need to spend well over €100 million on the Nigerian, a fee they could comfortably afford if Barcola departs.
Osimhen’s prior experience in the French league—having played for LOSC Lille before his high‑profile move to Napoli in 2020—would ease his adaptation to Ligue 1.
