Zimbabwe Holds First Training Session Ahead of Super Eagles Match in Unity Cup

The Zimbabwe Warriors conducted their first training session in Birmingham on Friday, preparing for the Unity Cup semi‑final against Nigeria’s Super Eagles.

Head coach Kaitano Tembo led the session with his assistants as the team ramps up for the highly anticipated match.

After the training, the Warriors will remain in Birmingham before traveling to London on Sunday to finalize arrangements for the tournament.

Three local players and technical staff arrived in Birmingham on Thursday.

Captain Marvelous Nakamba, Marshall Munetsi, Tawanda Chirewa and Munashe Garananga are among the senior players already in camp.

Zimbabwe will face Nigeria at The Valley, the home ground of Sky Bet Championship club Charlton Athletic, next Tuesday.

The clash will be a historic occasion for the Warriors, marking their first international fixture on English soil.
