World Cup: Haaland becomes sixth player to score multiple goals in his first two appearances

Norway striker Erling Haaland has become the sixth player in World Cup history to score multiple goals in each of his first two appearances.

Haaland achieved the feat after netting a brace in Norway’s 3‑2 victory over Senegal on Tuesday morning.

The Manchester City forward had also scored a brace in Norway’s 4‑1 win against Iraq a few days earlier.

Haaland now hopes to lead Norway to victory when they face France in their final group game later this week.
