Former Chelsea winger Shaun Wright‑Phillips has predicted that England will win the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Wright‑Phillips said England will face Argentina in the final and will come out on top.

He also tipped England midfielder Declan Rice to receive the Golden Ball as the tournament’s best player.

The former Manchester City star made the comments in a recent interview with All Out Football.

“Who do you think is going to win the World Cup? – England,” Wright‑Phillips said.

“Name the two teams that will play in the final: England vs Argentina.”
