Brazil winger Vinicius pledged that Carlo Ancelotti’s side would improve in their next match after the team failed to beat Morocco in Saturday’s World Cup opener.

Vinicius scored Brazil’s only goal, following Morocco’s opening strike by Ismael Saibari.

The match finished 1‑1 after 90 minutes, giving both Brazil and Morocco a point.

In a post on Instagram after the game, the Real Madrid star wrote, “Thank you God, we want more and will improve. Let’s go together, Brazil.”

Brazil’s next World Cup match is against Haiti on Saturday, June 19.

They will face Scotland in their final group‑stage game on June 24.
