Senegal winger Ismaila Sarr expressed disappointment after the Terangha Lions lost to Norway, according to DAILY POST.

Pape Thiaw’s team recorded its second loss in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, falling 3‑2 to Norway at the New York/New Jersey Stadium.

Norway advanced to the Round of 32 alongside France from their group.

Senegal must defeat Iraq in their final group match to keep a chance of reaching the knockout stage.

Having scored a brace against Norway, Sarr said the team would work hard to overcome Iraq.

“It was tough. We’re a little disappointed. But it’s not over yet; there’s still a third game to play. We’re going to go there to win it, and we’re going to work hard,” Sarr was quoted by FIFA.com.
