Atletico Madrid is reportedly ready to part ways with Super Eagles striker Ademola Lookman this summer, according to Afrik Foot.
The 28‑year‑old joined Diego Simeone’s side in February after a €35 million move from Atalanta. In 24 appearances for The Colchoneros, he scored nine goals and supplied three assists.
Despite his goal‑scoring output, the club has questioned whether Lookman fits into the team’s philosophy, and he may leave the Metroplitano before the close of the transfer window.

Spanish outlet Fichajes reports that the club is open to formal offers for the former Atalanta player after coach Diego Simeone expressed concerns about Lookman’s ability to adapt to his tactical demands.
The decision follows agreement among several staff members with Simeone’s assessment of the England‑born Nigerian forward.
In addition, Atletico need to raise funds following a season that ended without silverware. The club estimates it could receive up to €60 million from a sale of Lookman.

However, the most pressing issue is the potential departure of Julián Álvarez, who has attracted interest from Barcelona, Arsenal and Paris Saint‑Germain.
Atletico’s leadership aims to construct a more compact and lethal sporting project, and they plan to finalize all sales before the end of June to bring in new talent for the upcoming season.
