Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle admitted that his players committed errors in the Unity Cup semi‑final, a 2‑0 victory over Zimbabwe’s Warriors on Tuesday night.
The win, secured by two goals from Femi Azeez, puts Nigeria into the final where they will face either India or Jamaica.
According to DAILY POST, Jamaica and India will meet on Wednesday night, and the winner will play Nigeria.
“This is only a friendly game. This is not the World Cup qualifier. They need to work hard,” Chelle told reporters after the match at The Valley in London.
“They need to try to understand what I want, what the technical staff want, and the high level is difficult,” he added.
“So you see, we made some mistakes with the ball. For sure, you see tomorrow we work out,” Chelle said.
