UCL Final: PSG joins Real Madrid and Ajax in record after beating Arsenal

Paris Saint‑Germain joined Real Madrid and Ajax in an exclusive record after lifting this season’s UEFA Champions League trophy.

The Parisians secured a 4‑2 win on penalties after a 1‑1 draw in regulation and extra time against Arsenal in Budapest.

Goals for the French side came from Kai Havertz and Ousmane Dembélé, while Arsenal’s equaliser was scored by their striker.

With the victory, PSG become only the third club ever to win both their domestic league title and the Champions League in consecutive seasons, following Real Madrid (1956‑57/1957‑58) and Ajax (1971‑72/1972‑73).

PSG had already claimed the Ligue 1 title earlier in the season before the Champions League final.
