U-17 WWCQ: Flamingos and Amazons Set for Final Round Clash

Nigeria’s Flamingos will face Benin Republic for a spot in the 2026 FIFA U‑17 Women’s World Cup, reports the DAILY POST.

Both teams secured their place in the final qualifying round last weekend.

The Flamingos defeated Guinea 6‑0 at Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne on Sunday.

With an 11‑0 aggregate score, Akeem Busari’s side advanced.

Benin Republic beat Sierra Leone 5‑1 on aggregate.

The Amazons won the first leg 3‑0 and then secured a 2‑1 victory in the return match.

Nigeria will host the first leg in Ikenne from July 3‑5, while the second leg will take place from July 10‑12.
