Turkey: Galatasaray President Praises Osimhen’s Performance as Club Prepares to Sell Him

Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek has made it clear that the club has no plans to sell star striker Victor Osimhen during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Osimhen, who helped lead Galatasaray to the Turkish Super Lig title, has attracted interest from several top European clubs, including Chelsea, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid.

The Nigerian international joined the Yellow‑Reds from Serie A side Napoli.

“We initially signed Victor Osimhen on loan, and he performed magnificently,” Özbek said, according to Fanatik.

“He loves Galatasaray and Turkey very much. He said he would stay at Galatasaray, and we started talking in Napoli.”

“We don’t intend to sell Victor Osimhen! Putting a price on a player you don’t intend to sell is like dressing a footballer before he’s even born…”

Osimhen is reportedly valued at €150 million.
