Trump warns of military action against Iran over its support for Hezbollah

On Sunday, U.S. President Donald Trump warned that he would strike Iran if the country did not “immediately stop their highly paid PROXIES in Lebanon from causing trouble,” as peace negotiations began in Switzerland.

Trump was referring to Hezbollah, which has joined the Middle East conflict with attacks on Israel. Recent clashes between the two groups threaten to derail the preliminary U.S.–Iran peace talks.

“If they don’t, we’ll hit Iran very hard again, just like we did last week, only harder!!!” Trump posted on his Truth Social platform.
