Arsenal have decided not to sell defender Riccardo Calafiori, despite interest from José Mourinho and Real Madrid.
Football London reports that the Gunners are aware of the potential move but have expressed “no intention” of parting with Calafiori during the summer transfer window.
The Premier League champions say they feel “no pressure” to sell the Italian this summer.
Mourinho has also secured the services of former Bologna star Calafiori and Manchester City defender Josko Gvardiol as he prepares to take over at Real Madrid.
The Portuguese signed a three‑year contract with the Los Blancos last month, and the LaLiga giants are expected to announce him as their new manager this week.
