The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, urged residents of Abuja to support him and President Bola Tinubu on Monday.
Wike told the community that mutual support was essential, saying, “If you do for me, I’ll do for you; agreement must be respected.”
The remarks were made while he was speaking to residents at Kado Fish Market and inspecting the Deidei to Life Camp Road.
He added that the government would install streetlights in the area if the residents honored their commitments.
“This part of life is agreement, isn’t it? If you do for me, I do for you, no be so?” he said. “Now that the president has fulfilled his own promise, you must fulfil your own promise, isn’t it so? Don’t worry, we will install streetlight here.”
