Super Eagles head coach Éric Chelle has signed a new contract with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), according to the DAILY POST.
The agreement was finalized during a meeting at the National Sports Commission (NSC) headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday.
Attendees included NSC Chairman Shehu Dikko, NSC Director‑General Bukola Olopade, NFF President Ibrahim Gusau, NFF General Secretary Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, and Chelle.
Under the new terms, Chelle will receive a monthly salary of $100,000, up from his previous $45,000.
The NFF will also cover salaries for the Malian coach’s assistants.
At 48, Chelle was appointed Super Eagles head coach in January 2025 and led the team to a third‑place finish at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
