British‑Nigerian rapper Joseph Adenuga, known professionally as Skepta, has voiced strong concern about the escalating injustice in Nigeria.

In a video broadcast, the “Bad Energy Stay Far Away” artist called on fellow celebrities and the international community to help bring global attention to the country’s injustices.

He noted that Nigerians are resilient, yet they have endured injustice for a long time.

“There is so much injustice in Nigeria. Whenever I can—whether at my shows, through words or images, whatever I do—I will speak up against injustice at all times,” he said.

“Nigerians need help. We need people to speak up for us and to protect Nigerians. There is so much injustice in Nigeria,” he added.

“This is my message to the people: please, I know that we [Nigerians] are resilient and we make everything look good, but we need help, too. Please, help us,” he appealed.
