Sevilla lost 1-0 to Celta Vigo in Saturday’s La Liga match, with Super Eagles forwards Akor Adams and Chidera Ejuke appearing for the hosts.

Adams, in his 32nd appearance, has scored 10 goals and provided three assists for Sevilla this season. Ejuke has played 27 games, scored one, and delivered one assist.

Adams entered the game as a substitute for Isaac Romero in the 64th minute, while Ejuke was brought on in the 77th minute for Oso.

Celta nearly doubled their advantage in the 68th minute when Moriba’s volley failed to threaten the Valencia goalkeeper.

Sevilla’s attempts to equalise were unsuccessful, and the visitors secured the full three points.

Adams’ Prolific Goal‑Scoring Form

Akor Adams has been a pivotal striker for Sevilla during the 2025/2026 season, especially after returning from the 2025 AFCON.

He has netted 10 La Liga goals, including decisive strikes against Barcelona and a brace against Elche, establishing himself as a reliable scorer for the club.

Adams was described as a key forward, helping lift the team away from the relegation zone.

Ejuke has played a squad role, mainly impacting games off the bench, with one goal and one assist in more than 27 league appearances.

He has been used mostly as a substitute, with limited starts, and is competing for form and playing time amid reports of potential summer changes.
