Serie A Club Line Up Move For Orban

Nigeria striker Gift Orban is attracting interest from Serie A side Venezia, reports Completesports.com.

Orban spent the previous season on loan at Hellas Verona, a Bundesliga club, after joining from Hoffenheim.

The 23‑year‑old scored seven goals and supplied three assists in 28 league appearances for Verona.

Verona chose not to activate the option to make the former Olympique Lyon forward’s loan permanent.

The club was relegated to Serie B after finishing 19th in the Serie A standings last season.

Venezia Interested in Signing Orban

Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio says Venezia are considering a deal for Orban as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2026–27 season.

The Winged Lions returned to the Italian top flight after spending only one season in Serie B following their relegation at the end of the 2024–25 campaign.

Having finished first in Serie B last season, Venezia aim to reinforce their ranks and avoid another quick drop back to the second tier.

Transfer to Hoffenheim

Orban moved to Hoffenheim from Ligue 1 club Olympique Lyon in January 2025.

The pacey striker netted four goals in 13 league appearances for Die Kraichgauer.

More clubs are expected to show interest in the player this summer, with Hoffenheim likely to demand around €9 million for his transfer.
