The Social Democratic Party (SDP) presidential candidate Adewole Adebayo has once again criticized President Bola Tinubu’s administration for the country’s ongoing hardship.
In a post on his verified X account on Tuesday, Adebayo declared that poverty is not Nigeria’s destiny, blaming it on policy failures and poor leadership.
He argued that Nigeria could reverse its economic trajectory with a competent government, clear priorities, and deliberate planning.
The SDP candidate noted that despite three years of economic reforms, millions of Nigerians continue to face increasing hardship and a decline in purchasing power.
“Poverty is not Nigeria’s destiny. It is the result of failed leadership and it can be defeated with the right government, the right priorities and the right plan,” Adebayo said.
