Sallah: Nigeria Will Weather Economic Hardship Despite Rising Ram Prices – Atus

Before Nigeria’s Eid‑ul‑Adha on Wednesday, public‑affairs analyst and anti‑corruption advocate Ismaila Atus said the country would weather economic difficulties leading up to the 2027 general elections.

Atus made the comment in a statement released on Tuesday, ahead of the holiday.

The statement comes amid widespread concern over the rising cost of living, with ram prices climbing from N230,000 to more than N1.5 million.

Atus cited President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that the president has assured Nigerians that the country will endure any economic hardship.

“Nigeria will surmount all economic challenges under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” Atus said.

He also highlighted his work as a charity advocate, emphasizing his focus on the developmental impact on Nigerians.
