Report suspicious movement, activities in your communities – Oyo CP tells residents

Commissioner of Police in Oyo State, Olugbenga Abimbola, urged residents to report any suspicious activity in their communities.

Abimbola delivered the warning while touring the house that served as a hideout for the kidnappers who abducted the sister of former Minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu and her twins.

Daily Post reports that the victims were rescued on Saturday.

The house from which they were freed is said to be located at Lakon Estate on Ayegun Olojuoro Road in Ibadan, within the Oluyole local government area.

“You have seen it all. They will kidnap people in town and drive them to the house. You can see that this house is located within a premises,” Abimbola said.

“People have been coming here without saying anything. Hopefully, what is there is that if you see something, say something.”

“If they had done that, maybe for a while, we would have arrested them.”

“They should report to the security agencies.”
