Renewed Hope National Media Tour Begins at Southeast Projects

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors, working with the Presidential Media Team, will begin the South‑East Edition of the National Media inspection of projects this weekend.

A statement from Tunde Rahman, Director of Media and Publicity for Renewed Hope, said the tour of legacy projects undertaken by the President Bola Tinubu administration in the South‑East zone will start in Ebonyi State today and conclude in Imo State on June 17.

The five‑day media engagement will bring together more than 50 editors and journalists from across Nigeria. It is designed to showcase the achievements, ongoing projects, and developmental strides of President Tinubu’s administration under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Highlights of the tour will include project inspections, stakeholder engagements, media interactions, and strategic discussions on national development.

States in the South‑East geopolitical zone—Ebonyi, Enugu, Anambra, Abia and Imo—will be covered during the tour.

The Renewed Hope National Media Tour serves as a unique platform for promoting factual reporting, strengthening government‑media relations, and giving Nigerians firsthand information on the impact of policies and programmes being implemented across the country.

The tour previously brought more than 70 editors and government officials to the North‑West zone.

In the North‑West, federal government legacy intervention projects such as the Kaduna‑Kano‑Katsina‑Maradi railway, the Kebbi corridor of the Sokoto‑Badagry highway, the Abuja‑Kaduna‑Kano highway, the Kaduna Western Bypass, an irrigation project in Jigawa, and ecological intervention projects in the Wujuwuju‑Jakara area of Kano were inspected.
