Tunisia head coach Hervé Renard has urged his squad to battle and secure a victory in their final group match against the Netherlands during the current FIFA World Cup.

The Carthage Eagles were knocked out of the tournament after a 4‑0 loss to Japan on Sunday morning.

The Daily Post notes that Tunisia suffered a 5‑1 defeat to Sweden in their opening match.

Tunisia became the first African nation to be eliminated from the event.

Renard stressed the importance of ending their campaign on a positive note.

“You have to keep fighting in difficult moments like these. We will need to show pride and character to approach the third match in the best possible way,” the Frenchman said after the game.
