President Federation Cup: Rangers battle Rivers United after NPFL showdown

Rangers and Rivers United are set to clash again in the Round of 32 of the President Federation Cup, according to the DAILY POST.

Both clubs are currently competing for the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title.

Rangers lead the table with 62 points, while Rivers United sit second with 61 points.

The title will be decided on Sunday: Rangers will travel to Lagos to play Ikorodu City, and Rivers United will host Katsina United at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.

Another notable Round of 32 fixture features former NPFL sides Bayelsa United and Wikki Tourists.

The cup winner will earn Nigeria a spot in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
