President Federation Cup: Mangut Praises Players After Ikorodu City Loss

Nasarawa United technical adviser Mbwas Mangut praised his squad’s effort after the team’s exit from the President Federation Cup.

The Solid Miners were beaten 4‑2 by Ikorodu City in Benin City on Wednesday.

The match ended 1‑1 after regulation time.

Mangut said his players generated more chances but were unable to finish them.

“We exit the President Federation’s Cup with our heads high,” Mbwas said after the game.

“The boys gave everything. We didn’t lose this tie; penalties just didn’t fall for us today, but rest assured that next season we will come back stronger and better.”
