Peter Obi Not a Builder, Abandons His People – Ahanotu

Former Labour Party National Youth Leader Prince Kennedy Ahanotu has criticized former party presidential candidate Peter Obi, accusing him of failing to build lasting political structures and abandoning his supporters.

Speaking on TVC News, Ahanotu said Obi’s political record shows a pattern of moving from one platform to another without strengthening existing institutions.

“Peter Obi is not a builder of men; he abandons his own people,” he said, adding that true leadership requires developing institutions and empowering followers rather than relying solely on personal popularity.

Ahanotu also questioned Obi’s commitment to political parties, citing his shifts across different platforms over the years.

The former Labour Party chief maintained that strong political leadership should be measured by the ability to nurture loyal structures capable of surviving beyond an individual’s influence.
