Patrick Vieira names player with all qualities to win Ballon d’Or

Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira has predicted that France winger Michael Olise will win the Ballon d’Or in the future.

Vieira, who is currently a consultant for ITV Football covering the 2026 World Cup, said the Bayern Munich player possesses all the attributes needed to excel for his national team.

“We had Michel Platini, we had Zidane, and now we’ve Michael Olise. He’s a future Ballon d’Or winner and has all the qualities to shine on the international stage. The quality of his pass to Kylian Mbappe was truly exceptional. He is a proactive and determined number 10,” he said.

Olise impressed for Bayern Munich last season and continued to perform strongly for France, helping them secure a 3‑1 victory over Senegal in their World Cup opener.
