An Enugu Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Mbaka, stated that those who seek to overthrow President Bola Tinubu would not succeed by kidnapping children.

Father Mbaka made the remarks in a video that was seen by DAILY POST on Monday. He was responding to the recent abduction of schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo State.

He urged authorities to take urgent action and made controversial political comments about insecurity in Nigeria.

He said, “Governor Makinde wake up. Let Nigerians match to Oyo State there’s a governor there. If they want to overthrow Tinubu it’s not by kidnapping our children so that the whole Nigeria will be angry against the President.”

The cleric further alleged that a pattern underlies national crises, claiming it is the same approach used against former President Goodluck Jonathan.

The priest also questioned the motives behind the country’s insecurity.

He added, “Then if this one goes who else will come and they’ll support him. Governor Makinde take the phone and trace where they are. I’m speaking on prophetic anger it shall not be well those who are doing this thing because today it’s these children who knows who will be the next victim don’t think you’re safe.”
