Nwaneri Will Join Former Champions League Title Winners This Summer

German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund is reportedly “making another attempt” to sign Arsenal prospect Ethan Nwaneri this summer, Sky Sport Deutschland reports.

The 19‑year‑old has spent the second half of the season on loan at Marseille after limited opportunities at the Gunners.

Dortmund has inquired about Nwaneri’s situation, and the midfielder is said to be “open” to a move, although a permanent transfer is considered unlikely because of the “high transfer fee” expected.

Nwaneri remains under contract with Arsenal until 2030, and arranging a loan is also seen as difficult for Dortmund, yet the club maintains interest in the Arsenal star.

During his spell at Marseille, he appeared in nine league matches and scored twice. Before moving to France, he had made six brief appearances for Arsenal in the Premier League this season.
