Former Shooting Stars goalkeeper Mustapha Lawal is drawing attention from several top clubs in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Reports indicate that Angolan side Atlético de Luanda and Sierra Leone’s FC Kallon are also interested in the goalkeeper.

NPFL champions Rangers, Plateau United and Kwara United are said to be competing for his signature.

Lawal, who is a member of Nigeria’s Super Eagles B team, is praised for his cat‑like reflexes, commanding presence and composure between the posts.

His performances for Shooting Stars during the last season have made him a target for both domestic and foreign clubs.

Lawal departed Shooting Stars after his contract expired.

The 26‑year‑old shot‑stopper made 16 league appearances for Shooting Stars last season, keeping four clean sheets.

Lawal joined Shooting Stars from Nigeria National League (NNL) side Sunshine Stars two years ago.
