Brighton & Hove Albion have agreed to sign Nigerian winger Zadok Yohanna from Swedish club AIK Stockholm on a five‑year contract that will run until June 2031. The transfer will be completed when the window reopens, pending regulatory approval, and the financial terms have not been disclosed.

Yohanna, who will turn 19 later this month, has been hailed as one of Sweden’s most promising young talents. He impressed in both the Allsvenskan and domestic cup competitions while at AIK, earning a move to the Premier League.

Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler welcomed the signing, saying, “I’m looking forward to working with Zadok. He’s a player who can influence games in the final third. While he is still young and will need time to adapt, he has qualities that make him an exciting prospect.”

Hurzeler highlighted Yohanna’s pace, creativity and ability to beat defenders, noting that these attributes will bolster Brighton’s attacking options.

Yohanna began his career at the Ikon Allah Football Academy in Nigeria before moving to Sweden in 2025 to join AIK. Since arriving in Europe, he has made 18 appearances for the club this season across all competitions, scoring five goals and providing four assists.

The move represents a significant step forward for the young winger as he prepares to compete in the English Premier League.
