Nigerian singer Talay Riley, based in the UK, is stabbed to death.

Grammy‑winning Nigerian‑British singer Mark Yinka Orabiyi, better known as Talay Riley, has been confirmed dead.

The 35‑year‑old artist died on 5 June 2026 after sustaining multiple knife wounds.

He was found stabbed in Pankhurst Avenue, Silvertown, East London, around 9 a.m.

Metropolitan Police reports state that Riley was pronounced dead at the scene, despite paramedics’ efforts to revive him.

Homicide detectives from the specialist crime command have opened an investigation into the incident.
