Nasarawa United to Take a 21‑Day Break from NPFL Competition

Following the end of the 2025‑26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, Nasarawa United announced a 21‑day off‑season break for its players, technical staff, and back‑room personnel.

The hiatus is scheduled from Tuesday, 23 June 2026, to 13 July 2026.

The club finished sixth in the NPFL standings last season.

In the President's Federation Cup, the Solid Miners advanced to the semi‑finals, where they were defeated 4‑2 on penalties by Ikorodu City FC following a 1‑1 draw after regulation time.

The club acknowledged that it did not meet its seasonal objectives and confirmed that a campaign review is currently in progress.

They stated that their goal for the 2026‑27 season is to contest for the league title and secure a spot in continental competition.
