The Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO) has announced that it will extend its ground‑handling contracts with Qatar Airways, Saudia Airlines and ASKY, further consolidating its leadership in the sector.

It also secured a new contract with FlyGabon, a newcomer to the Nigerian market.

The company further announced that it will begin exporting solar cells to the United States.

In a statement issued earlier this week, NAHCO said that BGE (Nigeria) Solar FZE began exporting solar cells from Lagos to the United States in January 2026, using NAHCO’s facilities.

Group Executive Director of Commercial and Business Development, Prince Saheed Lasisi, said the company was proud of its ability to earn long‑term trust from a diverse set of operators, adding that the new contracts demonstrate NAHCO’s superiority over other service providers.

In comments, Group Managing Director and CEO, Mr. Olumuyiwa Olumekun, highlighted the company’s focus on adding value for clients and shareholders. He added that the ongoing deployment of new technology will improve NAHCO’s service delivery, enabling the high‑efficiency handling demanded by airlines’ precision operations.
