Mbappe Confirms He Made a Mistake in a Game Against Real Madrid

Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé said that the only mistake he made for the club this season was not helping Los Blancos win trophies.

The Frenchman made the comment during a post‑match interview after the club’s 2‑0 LaLiga victory over Real Oviedo on Thursday.

“My mistake was not helping the team win titles. The rest is just opinions,” Mbappé said.

“Nobody knows why I left [for vacation]. I had the club’s permission. But I’m only focused on winning titles.”

“They are never wrong. It’s the best club in the world. What hurt me the most was that people said I didn’t want to play.”

Mbappé is the leading top scorer in both LaLiga and the Champions League so far this season.
