Canada‑based Nigerian businessman Engr. Ademola Adetifa congratulated Governor Abiodun Oyebanji on his re‑election, saying the result was a clear affirmation of Oyebanji’s impactful leadership and the significant progress achieved during his first term.
Adetifa, who also serves as the Mayegun of the Aramoko kingdom, released a statement on Sunday stating that Oyebanji’s victory reflects the collective decision of Ekiti State’s citizens to renew their confidence in his leadership.
He described the win as “a clear testimony of Governor Oyebanji’s consistency, the preference of the All Progressives Congress as the party of choice for Ekiti people, and most importantly, the power of a resolute people to determine the direction for their future.”
“I congratulate our capable Governor on his re‑election and wish him success as he continues to serve the people of Ekiti State. As someone who believes in Governor Oyebanji’s capacity and competence, I am not surprised that his first term was well used to develop our state and consolidate and promote peace. Indeed, this has strengthened continuity in governance and Ekiti will be better for it,” he added.
The statement praised the tenacity of Ekiti’s citizens and assured them that Governor Oyebanji’s second term will usher in an era of further positive change and increased infrastructural development.
Adetifa also extended congratulations to APC members nationwide, particularly President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and expressed his view that the Ekiti election outcome signals what lies ahead.
He urged Governor Oyebanji to use the renewed mandate to deepen development efforts, strengthen security, and improve infrastructure.
