Arsenal had taken the lead in the standings after a 1‑0 victory at West Ham over the weekend, leaving City five points behind before the match.

Despite making six changes to his starting lineup, Pep Guardiola’s side still dominated the visitors.

Phil Foden was a standout, delivering the assists for Antoine Semenyo and Omar Marmoush, who both scored before halftime.

Savinho added a late third goal, keeping City two points behind Arsenal.

Both teams have two matches remaining.

Arsenal will play Burnley on Monday night, while City head to Bournemouth on Tuesday.
