Makinde visits Adelabu, assures family over abducted sister, nephews

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde visited former Minister of Power Chief Adebayo Adelabu on Friday to express sympathy over the abduction of Adelabu’s sister and her twin sons in Ibadan.

During the meeting, the governor voiced his concern about the incident and offered words of comfort to the family, assuring them that security agencies were actively working to secure the safe release of the victims.

Makinde also pledged the state government’s commitment to identifying, apprehending and bringing to justice those responsible for the abduction.

The visit comes amid growing worries about insecurity and criminal activity in parts of the state, prompting renewed calls for stronger protective measures for lives and property.

Family members and associates of the former minister welcomed the governor’s gesture and expressed optimism that the abducted victims would be rescued unharmed.
