Lere Olayinka, the Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication and Social Media to Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike, has issued a warning to activist politician Aisha Yesufu following a recent exchange with the minister.

Olayinka said that Wike has gone beyond merely calling Yesufu “dirty” on live television.

The controversy began when Wike first criticized Yesufu in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, for her failure to secure the Nigeria Democratic Congress primary for the FCT senatorial seat.

In response, Yesufu challenged the minister to never mention her name again.

Olayinka replied by telling the former BringBackOurGirls co‑convener to “clean herself up” before confronting the minister.

On Facebook, Olayinka wrote: “Those who know Aisha Yesufu should tell her that the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, has gone past the level of mentioning the names of dirty and smelly people on live television. She needs to try and clean herself up first abeg. DAZZOL.”
