LaLiga: Olmo says Cucurella will suffer for not telling us about his move to Real Madrid.

Barcelona attacking midfielder Dani Olmo disclosed that Marc Cucurella, the club's new Real Madrid signing, kept his transfer to the Los Blancos a secret from his Spanish teammates during the current FIFA World Cup.

In an interview with the press before Spain's World Cup match against Saudi Arabia this weekend, Olmo said Cucurella would face challenges in LaLiga following his return to Spanish football.

Olmo also expressed confidence that Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal would be ready to handle the left‑back position during the El Clasico.

“We didn’t expect Marc Cucurella to join Real Madrid. He kept it to himself and didn’t tell anyone.”

“Now he will have to suffer in La Liga, against Lamine, for example, and we’ll also suffer from him,” Olmo said (via Barca Blaugranes).
